Jennifer Kline is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and a National Certified Counselor. She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Counseling and a certificate in Addiction Counseling at Appalachian State University. She has been working as a post master’s therapist since 2018.
By approaching counseling from an existential perspective, Jennifer hopes to foster the client’s purpose and meaning so they can increase levels of fulfillment and authenticity in life. She utilizes a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques to assist clients in increasing their awareness and insight on negative thinking and behavior patterns, while empowering them to use these skills to make realistic changes. Jennifer incorporates mindfulness, meditation, imagery, and expressive arts techniques in her sessions. She believes mental health is biological, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical and aims to treat her clients holistically.
