Our passion is working with people from all walks of life. Each member of the team brings a wide variety of work and life experience. Their own personal stories, rich in diversity, make it possible to connect with people from many backgrounds, races, and cultures. They have the ability to meet you where you are when struggling with;
- Living in the aftermath of trauma or past hurts.
- Being dissatisfied in marriage and not knowing which way to turn.
- Having healthy relationships with friends and loved ones.
- Conquering overwhelming feelings of depression and anxiety.
- Feeling stuck in an unhealthy body with no hope for change.
- Suffering from grief of a lost loved one to include lost pregnancies.
- Meeting the expectation of a demanding work environment while struggling with anger or anxiety.
- Managing life with an impossible schedule and unrealistic demands.
Methods used in this practice are evidence-based and proved to work. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) addresses how negative thoughts affect feelings and behaviors. Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) encourages clients to recognize strengths and use them to maximize their potential. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a clinically proven form of therapy approved by the Veterans Administration and American Red Cross as an approved approach to address the symptoms of PTSD. We also offer the use of art in therapy when working with children and adolescents. Two therapists have dogs that are occasionally used in therapy in our dog-friendly offices.
